White Star Tavern

Award winning food, historic building, great location. The White Star Tavern has been a great success since opening in May 2002, drawing a lively drinking crowd as well as discerning diners. Smart front bar area with comfy leather sofas, walls adorned with shipping photographs, plus lots of original features including flagstone floors and open fire places.Beyond lies the spacious wood floored dining rooms. Good use of fresh produce from Hampshire suppliers. Dishes range from light bites ( classic caesar salad, fishcakes...) to more substantial fare - mussels in black bean sauce, fish and chips, slow roast shoulder of lamb.
Great homemade breads and puddings, inpressive wine list, cocktails and wines by the glass.
