Parking in Southampton Information
Southampton has 42 car parks, from surface car parks around the city centre to covered car parks within the city's main shopping area, including WestQuay's 4,000 parking spaces. Car parking charges apply seven days a week (except Christmas Day and Easter Sunday).

All general Council car parks are open 24 hours please click for information on parking charges.

In addition there are a number of private companies providing car parking for the general public in Southampton. There may be height or weight restrictions at these car parks. There are parking charges and these will depend on the car park used and the length of stay. One of these car parks at Ocean Village, Southampton is the Ocean Car Park.
Coach Parking
Four coach parking sites are available in the city:

Four spaces in Herbert Walker Avenue, located within 10 minutes walk of the new IKEA and 15 minutes from West Quay and the shops/malls around The Precinct

Six spaces in South Front located about 10 minutes walk from West Quay and the shops/malls around The Precinct and around 15 minutes from the new IKEA.

Three spaces in Canute Road which is located near to the amenities of Ocean Village.

Three spaces in Platform Road which are located near to God's House Tower and a short walk from the Wool House.

Availability for up to six coaches in Blechynden Terrace which is located near to the Mayflower Theatre.
These facilities are intended for long stay Coach parking with a maximum stay of 10 hours (no return same day).
For coach visitors wishing to take advantage of the great range of shopping offered by West Quay, West Quay Retail Park and IKEA, there is a coach pick-up/drop-off bus stop in Harbour Parade just outside these main attractions. Coach drivers can therefore take advantage of this central location to drop-off their passengers and use the long-stay coach/bus parking bays whilst they await a return time to pick up their passengers.
