Self Guided Walks
The Visitor Information Service sells booklets which will enable you to explore all that Southampton has to offer at your own pace. The Titanic Trail booklet guides you round memorials and buildings associated with the Titanic Story, and the Southampton Mini Guide allows you to take in attractions from the historic Bargate to the modern WestQuay shopping mall.
Southampton Old Town Walk
Follow the line of some of England's best-preserved medieval town walls and step back in history to find out more about Southampton's Old Town. A self guided walk booklet is available to purchase for £1.00 from the Visitor Information Service.
Titanic Trail
The trail takes you around some of the memorials and locations associated with Titanic. Browse through the many publications about Titanic on sale, and if you do not have time to visit all the sites during your visit, our staff can advise you which of the many fine memorials you can see during your tour. A self guided walk booklet is available to purchase for £1.00 from the Visitor Information Service.

150 years ago, Belfast was at the centre of the Industrial Revolution. You can still see the grandeur of the past in the city today. 15,000 men worked at Harland & Wolff, the largest ship builders in the world.
Southampton Mini Guide
This will guide you on a gentle walk starting at the Tourist Information Centre. All the city's main attractions are included on the tour, including the famous Bargate and Tudor House and the city's oldest building St Michael's Church. The leaflet is on sale for 20p at the Visitor Information Service, where you can collect the free map which accompanies the Mini Guide. Both the Mini Guide and the Central Southampton map can also be downloaded.

For park walks or more ideas for days out on foot, or by bicycle or on horseback in the surrounding countryside, please visit Southampton Visitor Information Service where the staff can advise on a variety of days out in and around Southampton.
