Hello Dolly!

Anita Dobson in Hello, Dolly!
with Darren Day and David McAlister

Winner of 10 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Hello, Dolly!, the biggest show stopping musical of all time, returns to the stage after twenty years! Starring Anita Dobson, with Darren Day and David McAlister.

"And what do you do for a living, Mrs Levi?" asks Ambrose Kemper in the first scene of this hit musical comedy. "Some people paint, some sew... I meddle," replies Dolly. And we are off on a whirlwind race around New York at the turn of the twentieth century, as we follow the adventures of America's most beloved matchmaker!

Featuring a star studded West End cast including Anita Dobson as the irresistible Dolly Levi, Darren Day as loveable Cornelius Hackl, David McAlister as the 'unmarried half-a-millionaire' Horace Vandergelder and Louise English as sophisticated hat shop owner Mrs Irene Molloy, Hello, Dolly! is full of memorable songs including Put On Your Sunday Clothes, Ribbons Down My Back, Before the Parade Passes By, Hello, Dolly!, It Only Takes a Moment and So Long, Dearie.

Hello, Dolly! stormed the Broadway stage for 2844 performances and played for nearly three years in the West End; the show not only received 10 Tony Awards but a New York Drama Critics Circle Award for a Musical, two Outer Critics Circle Awards and a Drama Desk Award. The musical was made into a film in 1969 featuring Barbra Streisand and was nominated for seven Academy Awards. Now it's back where it belongs - with a company of over forty and live orchestra, Hello, Dolly! is the show-stopping 'perfect match' for every musical fan.
