Visitors can view the National Motor Museum’s latest exhibition; ‘Feats of Endurance’ featuring vehicles that have stretched the boundaries of motoring endurance both in extreme conditions and on challenging terrain. Vehicles include a Trans Australia Solar Powered Endurance car, The Land Rover Defender; winner of the 1989 Camel Trophy and 1978 ‘twice round the world’ Austin Mini Clubman.
The National Motor Museum has over 250 vehicles telling the story of motoring from World Land Speed Record Breakers to Formula 1 racers. Take a ride on 'Wheels'; a pod ride journey taking you through 100 years of motoring, and visit Jack Tucker's Garage, which recreates the sights, sounds and smells of a typical country garage from the 1930s. As well as this, take a ride around the attraction on the high-level Monorail or see the sights from the replica 1912 open-topped London Bus.
World of Top Gear; See the actual cars from Jeremy, Richard and James' most ambitious challenges over the years. Exhibition highlights include the Top Gear 'Enormodrome' which the recreates the feel of the Top Gear studio.
Included in your visit to Beaulieu is entry into Palace House, home of the Montagu family since 1538, and Beaulieu Abbey with its exhibition and film of monastic life. Don't miss the ever popular James Bond Exhibition with its several exhibits including the Aston Martin Volante from 'The Living Daylights' and Odd Job's bowler hat, as seen in 'Goldfinger'.
