The Art House Gallery Cafe

The Art House Gallery Café is a cultural melting pot for arts in
Southampton. Located in Bedford Place on two floors of a grade II
listed building , we are a welcoming, vibrant and charmingly quirky
arts venue, run for love and not for profit.

We have been running since January 2008 and are registered as a Community Interest Company, created to provide Southampton city centre with a friendly, creative meeting place.

The Gallery – our walls are always filled with local artwork to inspire, uplift and sometimes challenge our visitors! Works are often for sale, so come in and browse a selection of fine art and crafts.

The café - serves Organic Fairtrade Mozzo Coffee, as well as a range of fruit, herbal and organic teas, soft drinks and fruit juices. Our delicious vegetarian lunches include a selection hot and cold meals, including homemade soup with freshly baked bread, homemade hummus and
pitta, homemade savoury muffins, or Ziggy's delicious homemade pasties.

Lunch served from 12noon – 4pm, Drinks, cakes & light snacks on sale all day
Evening meals on Fridays from 6pm

We have a busy programme of events, workshops, groups, entertainments and courses ……from poetry to life drawing, to creative writing, storytelling and clothes recycling.

When we are motivated by goals that have deep meaning, by dreams that need completion, by pure love that needs expressing -- then we truly live life.
