The Bargate monument gallery
The arts organisation a space was conceived from a desire to assist emerging artistic talent develop sustainable careers within the arts. Emerging visual artists
require platforms from which their work can be viewed, consequently
building reputations; a space endeavours to supply these platforms. The gallery is in the Bargate, the 800-year-old medieval gateway to Southampton.
