Southampton City Art Gallery
Southampton Art Gallery has a permanent collection of over 3,800 works of art, which span six centuries. The main exhibition hall, with its lofty ceiling and inter-locking arches, dominates the Gallery's architecture.
The gallery offers an exciting programme of historic, modern and contemporary exhibitions where new art is shown within its historical context. Southampton City Art Gallery has won several awards and continues to be one of Southampton's most popular visitor attractions.

Road Directions
From M3 exit at J13 signed M27 West-Southampton Docks. Once on M27 move into the left hand lane and exit J3, the M271-Southampton Docks, West Quay and Waterfront. Stay in the left hand lane, turn left and follow the signs for the City Centre. At the second major t/light junction go straight across and again at t/lights by TOYS R US up the hill. The Art Gallery is in the Civic Centre, North Block, at the top of the hill.
